Newport Community School became an Academy limited by guarantee on 1st August 2011 and is formally known as Newport Community School Primary Academy.

The school is governed by both an Academy Trust and a Governing Body.  The Trust is currently made up of 6 members, whose role is to oversee and challenge the school and the Governing Body on the long term strategic direction of the school.

Newport Community School Primary Academy is a registered company at Companies House.  An annual financial record is compiled each year and sent out to parents and relevant community partners.  This statement is available through the school office and the Academy’s website.
