We have had some visitors in nursery this week, Boris and Poppy! The children have enjoyed finding out about these Giant African snails. They have learnt how to look after them by keeping them warm, the food they like and making sure they have plenty of moisture in their tank. A few of the children have loved having the opportunity to hold them. We have been reading 'The Snail and the Whale' by Julia Donaldson and thinking about the different places the characters visited in the book and imagining where Boris and Poppy might want to go if they went on an adventure!
