Meal Time Catering Assistant - Permanent

Required as soon as possible

Grade A: £9.50 per hour

12.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Monday to Friday 11.30am to 2.00pm

 

A vacancy has arisen for a hardworking, friendly, team player to join our catering team as soon as possible. Full training to support your role will be given.

 

The duties will include, setting up and preparing the dining area ready for service, marking off the dinner registers as the children come in for dinner, assist in the production of and serve food to staff and pupils, on completion of meals to then clear away the dining and kitchen area.

 

Working as part of the catering team during the lunchtime service you must enjoy meeting children and be able to undertake a reasonable level of physical activity.

You may be required to work additional hours to cover staff absence.

Play Worker  

Grade B Permanent Position (£9.60 to £9.79 per hour)  

6.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.  

Hours will be spread flexibly over 3 afternoons, days to be agreed on appointment 

 

We are looking for a motivated and creative Play Worker to join our friendly and dedicated After School Club team.  

 

The successful candidates will: 

  • be committed to providing enriched fun activities for children in our after school club; 

  • be able to lead creative play opportunities for children aged 4-11; 

  • have the skills and sensitivity to deal with all members of our school community. 

 

Applicants must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to support learning and nurture children's well-being.  

This role requires the ability to fulfill all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

Meal Time Assistant
