Reception Virtual Visit from an Author

This week, Reception had a virtual visit from literary translator, Sian Valvis with her book Kolobok. Sian shared the traditional tale had come from Russia and read part of it in Russian. We learnt that her job is to translate a story from one language into another so stories can be shared to other countries.

We are reading Kolobok as a class story and linking it to the other similar traditional tales; The Gingerbread Man and The Runaway Pancake.
