Stanley Sherlock Visits Y5/6

Y5 and 6 had a visit from a past Newport student: Stanley Sherlock. He visited us to talk about his mountaineering experiences. Year 6 learn about mountains within their geography explorations, so this experience enhanced their learning and gave them some insight into first hand field research!  His visit was inspirational and many of the children were asking great questions about mountaineering, university and researching in the field.
