Year 3 Robotics

This week in year 3, we have been using our DT and Science skills to build robots which follow a design brief. We have tried to make sure our robots have strong and sturdy bodies, use strong joining techniques and have a working circuit. While we were creating our circuits, we discovered that if we included two bulbs in a series circuit, the bulbs were very dim. To overcome this, one of the year three students suggested we use a parallel circuit instead. This worked perfectly and lots of the other groups used this idea.
