Year 4 Working in Victorian Times

Year 4 have begun learning about the Victorians as part of their history and have been looking at child labour in the Victorian times. Children completed some jobs around the school and were very shocked that if they had worked the job for a full day, they would have been paid only a few pennies! This will help inform their writing: a persuasive letter trying to end the terrible working conditions for children!
