Year 6 have been researching the Stone Age in preparation for their writing. They are going to be writing some instructions on how to survive as a child in the Stone Age next week. The children were surprised with some of the facts they found:
‘I was surprised to find out they ate nettles, hazelnuts and sunflower seeds.’
‘I found out they used charcoal, pine resin and beeswax to make a glue.’
