Year Five- Creative Challenge

Last week, Year Five were given the challenge to design, build a prototype and test a house design which would be suitable for Brazil. The children came up with a huge variety of designs from houses on multiple levels to ones on stilts. We explored which land we could afford to buy and decided where to live along the Amazon River. The children were captivated by the flood and made links between our simulated flood in the Go Wild and the impact of extreme weather on the people living in Brazil.
