Reception took part in their first school Sports Day in the best weather of the week. Within their groups, the children worked around different events including obstacles, racket and bean bag relay, ball target throw, hurdles, goal kick and javelin. They scored points collectively for their team and we finished with traditional running races whilst the other children cheered them on. The children supported each other with each new event with Ms Wilson's personal highlight being a group hugging each other in congratulations for finishing the race.
