Year 1's have had a big surprise this week. When we came into class on Monday, we found some dinosaur eggs! We really want to look after these eggs and are hoping they will hatch soon. We decided that we needed to find out more about dinosaurs and where they live so have been learning about dinosaur habitats. We think that the dinosaur that laid these eggs probably came from a mixed forest habitat so we are creating a forest in our classrooms to make the baby dinosaurs feel happy when they arrive. One of our teachers was worried about keeping dinosaurs in the classroom but we wrote a letter to Mr Barnett asking if we could keep the eggs and look after them and he said it was ok. We will keep you updated with what happens to the eggs.
