Year 5 Guildhall Trip

On Thursday, Robins went on a trip to the Barnstaple Guildhall to learn all about the history of Barnstaple and about the significance of trade in our local area. The children went on a town tour, examined artefacts and made their own versions of Brannams pottery. In the afternoon, they then got into character and participated in some mock trials, which were based on real trials that took place in the Guildhall! The children really got into their roles!
