Year 5 Invaders Day

Year 5 took part in Invaders' Day today where they all dressed as Invaders (Vikings, Anglo-Saxons or Picts) which they have been learning about this half term. They took part in a variety of activities throughout the day: creating clay tiles with Anglo-Saxon Runes to spell their names, creating clay Anglo-Saxons or Viking faces, making flags for their tribe as well as Viking Jewellery. They also learnt a Viking song throughout the day.
