Year 3 Volcanoes

To help learn about volcanoes, Year 3 used marshmallows and spaghetti to make model building structures and then saw what could happen if they were near an erupting volcano. We used vinegar, washing up liquid and bicarbonate of soda to create an eruption. Over the term we will be exploring different recipes to see what different kind of volcanic eruptions we can witness.
