Year 3 Mapping

Year 3 have been looking at maps over the last few weeks as part of their ‘Barnstaple- a city of the future’.

This week they were using Aerial photo maps to identify human and physical geographical features in the local area and they also looked at KnowYourPlace website (https://maps.Bristol.gov.uk/kyp/?edition=devon), which allowed them to compare modern planning maps with historical maps to see how the areas of Barnstaple and Exeter have changed over the last 100 years.
